Privacy Notice

This is the website of DJ Mike Melice, a wedding and event entertainer serving Upstate New York. It describes what this site collects through its own pages, and what is handled by the outside services the site uses. Questions and requests can be sent to booking@djmikemelice.com.

The availability form on this site (the one behind the “Check Availability” buttons) is a DJEventPlanner form embedded from djmikemelicevip.com. When it is submitted, the details typed into it — event date, first name, last name, email address, telephone number, event type, and the text-message contact consent choice — are posted directly to that service and stored in the DJEventPlanner account used to manage bookings.

Availability inquiries are submitted straight to DJEventPlanner and are not saved in this website's own Inquiry database. The form is displayed and filled in inside your browser, so the values you type are handled by the page in order to send them to DJEventPlanner, but the site does not store them afterwards. DJEventPlanner's own privacy policy governs how that service processes them.

The wedding, corporate and school pricing pages include a separate request form (“Prepare My Event Agreement”). That form is handled by this website's own server, hosted on Base44, and it does not ask for an email address. It collects a full name and mailing address (on the corporate page, a business name and business address), an optional message, the package and enhancements selected, and the estimated total. The request is saved in this website's database on Base44 and emailed to the owner of this site so an event agreement can be prepared.

No payment card or bank details are collected through this site, and the pricing pages do not create a booking or a contract — they send a request for an event agreement.

The Instagram section displays recent public posts from the DJ Mike Melice Instagram account, retrieved through Instagram's API and shown with images served by Instagram. Viewing that section loads content from Instagram's servers. There is no Instagram login on this site, and the site does not receive your Instagram account details.

This site uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram advertising) on every page. It reports a page view to Meta and may set cookies or similar identifiers in the browser. The technical information it receives includes the page viewed, the referring page, and browser and device details, and it is used to measure advertising results and to show ads to people who have visited this site.

This site also uses Google Ads conversion measurement (gtag.js, tag AW-940378515) to understand which ads and pages lead to inquiries. That script may set cookies or similar identifiers in the browser and receives technical information such as the page viewed, the referring page and whether an inquiry was submitted.

Links to this site may carry campaign parameters (for example utm_source, or a Google click identifier such as gclid). When present, those parameters are kept in the browser's session storage for the visit and attached to the conversion event so a visit can be attributed to its source.

Meta's and Google's own privacy policies apply to the data their measurement services process.

This website is built and hosted on Base44. Like any web host, Base44 processes the technical data needed to deliver pages and keep the site secure — for example the page requested, IP address, browser and device details, and the referring page — in its server logs.

Visitor tracking is turned on for this site in the Base44 dashboard, so Base44 records page-traffic statistics that the owner can review: which pages are viewed, roughly where visits come from, and what device or browser was used. The owner reviews these as aggregate traffic statistics.

Cookies and site storage can be blocked or cleared in browser settings. Blocking measurement cookies does not prevent anyone from contacting us or sending an inquiry.

Base44 hosts this website, runs the pricing-page request handler and keeps the site's traffic statistics. DJEventPlanner provides the availability form and the booking system behind it. Google provides the Google Ads measurement tag. Meta provides the Meta Pixel used for advertising measurement and retargeting, and Instagram (also part of Meta) serves the post images in the Instagram section. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
