Turning Stone offers couples an impressive variety of settings for their wedding day, from expansive ballrooms and elegant clubhouses to distinctive clubs and lounges. Each space creates a different experience, which means the entertainment, sound and lighting should be designed around the room—not forced into a one-size-fits-all setup.

Having performed weddings throughout the property, DJ Mike Melice understands how the flow can change from one Turning Stone venue to another. That experience helps create smooth transitions, clear sound and an atmosphere that feels intentional from the ceremony through the final song.

The Lodge

Ceremonies on The Great Lawn

Many Turning Stone wedding ceremonies begin on The Great Lawn at The Lodge, a beautifully landscaped outdoor setting surrounded by mature trees, colorful gardens and an open-air pergola.

Guests can arrive through The Lodge and gather for a pre-ceremony cocktail before making their way outside to the lawn. With The Lodge rising behind it and the gardens surrounding the ceremony space, The Great Lawn creates a relaxed yet elevated arrival experience and a beautiful natural backdrop for the couple's vows.

Angel and Patrick's Filipino-American wedding was filled with thoughtful details and carefully planned experiences. Angel is a wedding planner with Jodianne Events, and that attention to detail could be felt throughout the entire celebration.

Their ceremony took place on The Great Lawn and featured a live string quartet, creating an elegant beginning to the day. Inside the Oneida Room, approximately one-quarter of the expansive space was separated with draping to create a dedicated cocktail-hour area. Guests enjoyed a mix of big-band favorites and Motown performed by our saxophonist while visiting the Social Booth with its Glam upgrade.

Following a beautiful first dance and multicourse dinner, the room transformed for dancing. Our Italian-made RCF sound system provided the clarity and coverage needed for the large space, while nightclub-style lighting established the atmosphere around the dance floor. Later, the saxophonist joined DJ Mike Melice for a live DJ-and-sax fusion set that kept the dance floor full and the energy high.

Amanda and Kyle's wedding at Shenandoah Clubhouse blended an elegant setting with an energetic celebration.

Cocktail hour took place in the courtyard behind the clubhouse, where guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers while our saxophonist performed a relaxed mix of jazz. The live music complemented the outdoor setting and created a smooth transition into the reception.

For their first dance, Amanda and Kyle selected cold sparks to frame the moment and create a dramatic visual effect. The result was an unforgettable entrance to the evening and a collection of stunning photographs. When the celebration moved into open dancing, the dance floor remained packed throughout the night.
