Real Weddings at Greek Peak Mountain Resort

Greek Peak Mountain Resort sits in Cortland and Virgil, New York, where the wooded hills above Hope Lake open into long mountain views. It's a four-season resort, and its weddings carry that character — a ceremony outdoors or beside the glass, a reception inside, and a celebration that runs late into the night.

Weddings here happen in two very different spaces: The Lookout at Hope Lake and the tented Meteora Center. Each one shapes an evening differently. We've performed at both, many times, so we know how each room sounds, how the light moves across it, and where the dance floor fills fastest.

The celebrations below are real Greek Peak weddings, shown with the music, lighting and production that filled each room.

Weddings at The Lookout

The Lookout is one of Greek Peak's premier wedding venues — a modern, farmhouse-inspired hall overlooking Hope Lake and the surrounding mountains. Vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, elegant chandeliers and warm wood finishes give it a bright, refined character, while floor-to-ceiling windows keep the mountain landscape part of the room.

It's built for a full evening: a spacious indoor reception area, a covered outdoor patio for cocktail hour, and room for dinner, formalities and a genuine dance floor. The Lookout is available year-round, so the view changes with the seasons while the celebration stays comfortable inside.

We've entertained weddings here many times. That means we know how the room carries sound, how light reads against those white walls and rafters, and how the evening should build. The approach starts elegant — clean, uncluttered presentation and lighting that flatters the space — then opens into a reception your guests actually get up for. Uplighting, custom monogramming and cold sparks all read beautifully here, and the transitions from dinner to dancing are planned around how guests move through the hall.

Weddings at The Tent (Meteora Center)

Greek Peak's tented wedding venue, the Meteora Center, offers a completely different atmosphere from The Lookout. Flowing white drapery, chandeliers and open views of the resort and mountains give it an airy, elegant feel — less a fixed room than a canvas you get to shape.

Because the space is built from fabric, structure and open air, it responds beautifully to lighting. Uplighting, warm washes and customizable color let the mood shift from ceremony-soft to full celebration over the course of an evening, and the attached patio keeps guests moving between indoors and out. Seasonal weddings here are especially memorable — the light, the views and the mountain air all change with the calendar.

We've performed at the Meteora Center numerous times as well. We know how the tent carries sound, how the drapery takes color, and how to build real dance floor energy in an open, seasonal space. The result is a reception that feels as designed as it does spontaneous.
