Svetlana & Konstantin at Marriott Syracuse Downtown

When it comes to breathtaking venues and opulent celebrations, Svetlana and Konstantin’s Russian/Armenian wedding at the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Syracuse Downtown was nothing short of spectacular. I had the honor of being part of this incredible event, which blended rich cultural traditions with a luxurious modern twist.

For this grand occasion, I worked alongside an Armenian band, creating the perfect fusion of live and DJ music that kept guests entertained throughout the night. The couple chose stunning enhancements that highlighted the ballroom’s elegant architecture, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. We used 32 uplights in two-tone colors: warm amber to accentuate the ballroom’s golden details and vibrant fuchsia to provide a bold contrast that added an extra layer of sophistication and flair.

The magic truly came alive during Svetlana and Konstantin’s first dance. They opted for our Dancing on Clouds special effect, which created a fairytale-like moment as they danced on a dreamy cloud of fog, perfectly complemented by cold sparks for a dramatic and mesmerizing display. It was a scene straight out of a movie, leaving both the couple and their guests in awe.

The night was filled with high-energy celebration, combining traditional Armenian music, modern hits, and plenty of dancing. Svetlana and Konstantin’s wedding was a true example of how merging cultures can create a unique, unforgettable experience.
